Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Gradually add wet ingredients into dry, mixing until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix softened cream cheese with a tablespoon of sugar until smooth.
- Gently fold blueberries into the batter.
- Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Spread cream cheese mixture over the batter, then top with remaining batter.
- Swirl gently with a knife to create marbling.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Notes
- Use fresh blueberries for best flavor; frozen can be used but drain excess moisture.
- Allow the bread to cool before slicing for clean cuts.
