Is Bulk Report Extractor (BRE) free of charge?

Bulk Report Extractor (BRE) is free of charge for all GSD IDEA Customers with IDEA StatiCa Enterprise license and active Maintenance. Everybody else, upon requesting BOM Extractor via request form above, will be contacted by GSD IDEA Sales representative to discuss terms and conditions of use.

How much time will I save using BRE?

Expected time saving is 2 – 8 hours, depending on the size of your project and Reviewers/Authority requirements.

I am an Enterprise customer supported by GSD IDEA, who in my company can use it?

Everybody who requested BRE via above form and is a Commercial License user of IDEA StatiCa.

Do I need local admin rights to install BRE to my PC?

Local admin rights are not required to launch. BRE is click and use type of application.

What are the minimum requirements to run BRE?

Same as for IDEA StatiCa application. Requires 120MBs of HDD space.

Do I need IDEA StatiCa installed on my PC to run BRE?

Yes, it is mandatory.

What version of IDEA StatiCa do I need to have on my PC to run BRE?

Once you have BRE and IDEA StatiCa (both same version) installed on your PC, you can upload, generate and share reports from .ideacon files created even in older versions of IDEA StatiCa e.g. V24.1 etc. Currently BRE is available for IDEA StatiCa v25.1 and v26.0.

How can users log in and use BOM Extractor?

• Launch BRE app
• Login with e-mail that you use to access IDEA StatiCa application
• Check your mailbox for OTP
• Insert OTP to BRE login screen
