  • 1 lb boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add chicken pieces, cook until browned and cooked through, about 8 minutes.
  5. Pour in tomato sauce, garam masala, turmeric, chili powder; simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and remaining butter, cook until heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, garnish with cilantro, and serve hot.
