- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup grated romano cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Add garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in lemon juice and chicken broth, scraping up browned bits from the pan. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle with grated romano cheese and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
