Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds of beef chuck or sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by seasoning the beef pieces generously with salt, pepper, and dried herbs to enhance flavor.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the beef until browned on all sides, working in batches if necessary.
- Transfer the seared beef to your crockpot. Add butter, minced garlic, and herbs.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until the beef is tender and juicy.
- Once cooked, stir the beef bites in the garlic butter sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired for added freshness and presentation.
Notes
- Use a nonstick cookware set for even heat distribution and easy cleanup.
- Add a splash of balsamic vinegar or soy sauce during cooking for an extra flavor boost.
- Adjust cooking time depending on your slow cooker’s heat level and the cut of beef used.
