A simple yet indulgent recipe for garlic butter bread rolls. These fluffy rolls coated with fragrant garlic butter are perfect for any occasion or bread basket.

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Additional melted butter for brushing

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk with a teaspoon of sugar. Let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, and salt. Add in the yeast mixture, melted butter, and knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal portions. Shape each into a ball and place on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Mix minced garlic with melted butter. Brush the tops of the rolls with the garlic butter mixture and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  6. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown. Brush with additional garlic butter as soon as they come out of the oven.
