Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk with sugar. Let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, minced garlic, and melted butter. Add yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
  3. Cover the dough and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape into rolls and place on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the rolls and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy warm!
