- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups cooked pasta (elbow or shells)
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and garlic; cook until softened.
- Transfer the beef mixture to the crock pot.
- Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Stir in cooked pasta just before serving. Serve hot with optional garnishes.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
- Add a pinch of chili flakes for extra spice.
