- 1 lb boneless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup honey BBQ sauce
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then grill or cook in a skillet until fully cooked. Slice into strips.
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add milk and cheese, stirring until smooth and cheesy.
- Mix cooked pasta into the cheese sauce. Toss in sliced chicken and barbecue sauce, stirring to combine.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a dash of smoked paprika or a sprinkle of green onions. Use pre-cooked chicken for quicker preparation.
