- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup melted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup corn syrup
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups chopped pecans
- ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, press into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.
- In a bowl, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla; stir until smooth.
- Fold in chopped pecans and chocolate chips if using.
- Pour over the crust, spreading evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the filling is set and bubbly.
- Allow cooling before slicing into bars.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sprinkle sea salt on top before baking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
