  • 1 cup orzo pasta

  • 1 cup shredded Gruyere or Swiss cheese

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
  3. In a baking dish, combine diced chicken, orzo, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper. Pour in chicken broth and stir.
  4. Top with caramelized onions and shredded cheese.
  5. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
